Visit from ELI

Well, I need to post about another visit we got from ELi and R. We had such a great time, and of course some great pics! ELi is such a sweetheart. I need to point out some similarities and major differences in 2 babies of the exact same age..

E~ sleeps through the night for 10 hours and takes a 1 1/2 hour nap a day
I~ wakes once in the night for 11-13 hours and takes a 3 hour nap a day

E~ requires tapping and sitting with to go to sleep unless CIO, yet will nap in his mom's arms
I~ goes to sleep easily on her own as long as she is in HER crib at HER home, never anywhere else

E~ loves hugs and kisses and gives them freely
I~ pushes you away when you try to hug OR kiss her, even if she has just split her head open

E~ cautious around new experiences and thoughtfully checks with his mom frequently
I~ bulldozes over to new toys in a crowd of 100 at a place she has never been before, and doesn't think to ever look back

E~ quiet and thoughtful, making little grunts to let you know what he desires
I~ plays happily by shreiking at the top of her lungs and smacking toys about, and when she is UPSET you don't even want to know her

Here are some lovely photos from our little personalities...

You know, they could just be FRIENDS. Romance does not have to be involved!

Hello? Of course they are just friends.. they are 11 months old!

Sure am sorry for you if you got the wrong idea about that!

Heh, I think the pretend romance is cute. The pictures are awesome! I'm glad you finally got them up. ;)

Laura, you do not encourage anonymous replies by being adversarial. I think it's slightly creepy that you relentlessly frame Ileigh's and Eli's friendship in the context of a stormy love affair, and I chose to comment on that in a very benign way. I was being lighthearted and didn't mean to offend you. Now, however, I feel offended and if I were really an anonymous reader I would not want to read anymore.

Your loving sister.

choosing anonymity is asking for offense. Anyone who decides to comment on my blog with negative connotations can stop reading whenever they feel "slightly creepy".

P.s. your comment did not sound lighthearted to any of my blog readers.
