Vacation Part Two

August 5th we drove the rest of the way to Seattle. When we got there we did an underground tour. We had Ileigh in the hip carrier. She fussed and squirmed the whole time. We ended up cutting the tour a little short. Poor baby just wanted down to crawl.
Then we went to my cousin's house. She just had her home totally renovated and it was so awesome. She let us stay in her basement and Ileigh got her own room down there. My cousin's daughter is 4 and loved playing with Austin. That night Ileigh went to bed at 6 pm!
The next day we went to Pike's place market where they throw the fish. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see them throw any. Also, they were very crowded and everyone was waiting for some good ole' fish throwin. we checked out the Seattle aquarium and Austin got to see an octopus eat lunch. We left early so princess Ileigh could nap.
That evening we ate some Thai food that made Andy want to pack up and move there. Then we took a long walk and went to bed early. The following day we all went up to Sonoqualmie falls. We hiked down and it was beautiful. It made us all want to swim and kayak though, none of which we could do with Ileigh. The hike back up almost killed me. And ANdy was the one carrying Ileigh on his back with her howling the whole way up. I took some pretty pictures!
We rode a ferry to bainbridge Island. You can see the entire Seattle coast from this ferry. It was huge! When we got there, we ate ice cream. Andy and Austin started rough-housing and they broke Ileigh's stroller wheel clean off. I was pretty mad! Good thing we still had the hip carrier!

That night Ileigh got electocuted. Dh was playing with her on our bed downstairs. The basement isn't completely finished yet, and some of the outlet covers weren't on yet. We didn't think too much of it but Ileigh did after sticking her hand into one. She screamed for a while and we were scared shitless. Finally she calmed down. She didn't have a burn so we didn't see any sense in calling anyone over it.
We went to the Seattle zoo on our last day. It would of been better with a stroller, I will tell you that! We also checked out some last minute sights including the arboreum which was awesome. I would love to live somewhere where I can go hang out in such a peaceful place like that. We mostly took it easy the last day there and left early the next morning for Oregon.

Pictures??!!

Maybe Ileigh will be psychic or something now. It sounds like a terrible scare.
