Sick Poopapotamus

I have one sick and miserable poopapotamus. And that makes one cranky Mama. For the past few weeks (okay year), Ileigh has been fussing and mad at the world. She has continued to be a good sleeper though, until yesterday. She is having the hardest time putting herself to sleep. I can't blame her though. Her nose is a waterfall of green goop and her numerous new teeth must be too dull to break the skin. I let her scream for a few minutes and when I go back in she has usually rubbed snot into her eyes and has it down her chin. She also has been gnawing on her fists. Poor Baby.
Last night she threw up for the second time in her life. No one in my family is a puker, so I commiserate greatly with Ileigh. She must have felt horrible. We gave her a bath and changed all her linens. I couldn't help but think Ileigh's friend Eli, who is a puker. His poor mom cleans him all up, puts him down again, and then repeats. I try not to think I have it so bad.

Update on Ileigh:

Not walking yet
Words that are kinda words are.. Dat (that), Kee (kitty), da dow (thank you), and Meow (what the kee says)
4 teeth and at least 2-5 more breaking through
Hates the car again
Not eating much lately but loves yogurt
Loves to push her Little Tykes bus around the house
Adores her stuffed elephant shannon brought her back from California
Still takes a paci and bottle for bedtime
sleeps 12 hours straight on a normal night and takes a 3 hour nap (well, there are some good things about Ileigh's personality!)
