A toddler??!

Ileigh will be 18 months on saturday. She certainly does not seem like 18 months! I think all the colic set her back a few months. Especially at the little gym it is apparent. She is doing things now I saw the others do months ago. Oh well, it's still cute! She is just now running and waving Hi. She also LOVES to bounce. She bounces on balls, chairs, people, whatever. She has pretty good balance. She is mimmicking a lot of words and sounds but still doesn't annunciate things enough for me to call it a new word. I know she tries to say dog and light for sure. She still just refers to me as "Ughhhh" though.

I have been singing twinkle twinkle little star to Ileigh everyday now. She tries to sing back and it is the cutest thing! She will do the motions and has the tune down pretty well. The rest is just sounds. I really need to catch that on tape.Ileigh has a horrible rash. One under her mouth, I think from all the saliva due to teething. The other is all over the backs of her knees. It may just be ecxema. I am hoping it is not ringworm. I have been putting the antifungal cream on it, just in case. She starts daycare tuesday of next week and I surely do not want her sent home right off the bat! It looks like large dry patches but it's all clustered in the same area. She doesn't have a fever or anything.

Next week starts a new transition for me. In addition to Ileigh starting daycare, I take my real estate exam. After I pass, I will start that career and also increase my hours as a mammographer. I may sign up with a temp agency. Also, we will start looking for a bigger house. I love this house so much, but it is just too small for the four of us. It is only about 1600 sq ft. Especially if we decide to have more children, there is no way we could fit here.

My best friend is due to have her baby soon, I am so excited. She is having all kinds of weird episodes and keeps going to the hospital, so I think it may be soon. I think they will finally agree to induce her, if it doesn't happen on it's own. Her dr. is probably tired of her phone calls. LOL. As long as it is not the day of my real estate exam, we are all good to go. I am her photographer. YAY!
