Yesterday I was driving through neighborhoods (on my way to Target) and I passed a LARGE home in a nice neighborhood. I called Andy and had him look it up on MLS. It was only 499! I was thinking at least 700K. So we went to look at it. The inside needs a lot of work but the outside is divine. It has a spa, barbque, storage shed, 2 garages, 3 car carport and an air conditioned work shop. MAN were we tempted. And NO SCORPIONS. So, we are toying with putting this house for sale. This is such a gorgeous house but besides the scorpion problem, we are bummed about not being able to have any kind of RV or large gate for the backyard. We really want to get a pop up camper so we can camp whenever we want. There is not enough storage space or outdoor area here. Even if there was a bigger outdoor area, that would just mean more space for the scorps.
hmmm. it is a lot to think about. Since we over spent on this house we would be losing money in that area, but this other house is cheap, as are many on the market right now. We will just have to wait and see.
