Well, I am a little bit frustrated. I know this is a place for me to vent and journal, but I have been asking around to my friends and family members, and it turns out not many of them ever read my blog. My aunt flat out told me she couldn't care less and why don't I just tell her what I want her to know. My mom claims she can't figure out how to save the link, so I would have to email it to her every time I post. My sister J just doesn't feel like it and would rather read a blog about 2 kids close in age to hers, that have no relation and she will never meet them. So here's to Melissa, Rachel, Shannon and Christine, the sole readers of my blog, I will keep posting for you.
Ileigh is getting her first tooth!! It started to break skin on May 2nd, and dad noticed it when I was at school. Yippee. I was happy he was the first to notice. Ileigh has her 5th cold! That is 5 in her 9 months of life. This one may not be quite as bad as the last, but she has a wicked cough that sounds like she needs to constantly clear her little throat.
Ileigh is starting to dance all the time. Music or no music, she actually headbangs. She will crawl a few feet, stop, bang her head up and down, look at me and smile, and continue on her way. It is too cute.
Daddy and I took her out to eat and we were trying to entertain her by handing her objects off the table. I handed her a napkin and she immediately tried to shred it. She made the funniest face and squinted her eyes real tight. We started trying to get her to make the face again and she mimmicked everything we did. It was so cute. Daddy says he wants another one of her. LOL.
I only have a few classes of real estate school left and then I need to start studying for the exams. I have heard that someone related to me has said that they think it is too challenging for me and that I will never pass. Nothing like that type of comment to motivate me to prove them wrong. HUUH!
Last night Ileigh had a terrible accident. Daddy was watching her (make note of that part), and she tried to cruise from the futon, to a tv tray, knocking the whole thing on top of herself. Daddy thought it hit her chest until grandma noticed the blood coming out of babies mouth. I looked in it, and I think she hit between her upper gums, and lip. I really hope that her first front teeth come in okay. It's a good thing she didn't have any there yet, or I am sure they would be chipped or gone now. Ileigh cried pretty bad for about 20 or so minutes so daddy did feel bad. What is it with men and TV watching?

Don't worry, I do read your journal all the time. I love to see pics of Ileigh. Sorry your fam is not reading...tell them they are missing out. I do need to start one. I keep saying I will but never get around to it. I will do it though. BYE
Just wanted to let you know that I am reading too, I'm just not very good about posting!
Yeah for Ileigh's first tooth! Hopefully she will feel a little better now that it has already poked through.
I bet Ileigh dancing is just too cute! If you haven't yet, you should try and get some video of her headbanging.
Just ignore whoever said you couldn't pass the real estate test. I firmly believe that you can do anything you set your mind to, and you will show them!
yep! I'm still here and checking in all the time! :) Maybe some of your family is reading and just not posting. My family hardly ever makes a comment. The first one they made was over Elias being bitten!
I hope Ileigh's gums feel better soon, both from the teething and from the bang. Poor baby!
I'm so glad that you are enjoying her so much more. Hopefully all the hard times are over for a bit.
Well I check it every day! I love reading blogs (whether I know the person or not). However, I am pretty sure you are right and none of the rest of your family does read it. Too bad for them.
