Ileigh's Birthday Day...

My Big ONE year old!

Well, most of her day was spent with me cleaning the house for my family to come over. Ileigh was really good. I sang happy birthday to her when I went in to get her from her crib. She didn't wake up until 10am! She has been sleeping 13 or more hours straight-no waking up. Well, I guess a year old is about the right time for one of my babies to start sleeping through the night. My sister's cat had kittens which were the absolute hit of the day. My older sister flew in from California and my whole family spent the afternoon together watching the kittens. Finally, Ileigh's time started around 6ish. (Everyone was late). We ate spagetti and left for Austin's art show. We totally went to the wrong building and had 15 minutes left until the reception was over. I got yelled at for trying to camcord my son's artwork on exhibit and they made me lock up my camera in a locker. We ended up having to walk around a bunch of construction (I was in a panic that we were going to miss it). We got there in time, but it was nothing exciting. Just a room with a few kids pieces in it. We walked around and then left, bringing a balloon for Ileigh. We then opened presents.

She got 3 dresses and a freezable carseat cover.

Here I am holding her arms down so she will wear a cute bandana that came with a new dress.
These are some more pictures from the present opening.

My mom got her one of those expensive dolls that is very life (scarey)-like. It will come in the mail in 9-12 weeks. The card had a kitty and doggy on it.

As you can see Ileigh LOVED the card!

Here is the cake I HAND MADE for her.. ( I bet you couldn't even tell, could you?)

Then we sang happy birthday and gave her a cupcake. She wanted to eat the fire.

She at first made an unhappy face. But later decided she loved it. In no time she was laughing at it and scarfing it down.
We had a bigger party on Saturday night but everyone left early. =( I didn't take many pictures because I was pretty busy with everyone. She did get some cool presents though.

I'm so glad to finally see the pictures! Looks like Ileigh enjoyed her cupcake and opening presents. Elias wasn't too into the cards either - well, that's because I took them away! Happy Birthday Ileigh!
