At the new house we moved into, they have a HUGE memorial celebration every year. The clubhouse is just 4 or so houses up from us too. :D It starts friday night when everyone from the neighborhood meets for an ice cream social. Then people swim, paint tiles to be cemented onto a post at the pool area, and the kids get a movie night. Saturday there are relay races, snacks, games, and food. Sunday there are prizes for the relays, more competitions and storytime for the babies. Monday night there is a big potluck and catering from honey bears bbq.
I can't wait to make some new friends in the neighborhood (and babysitters, teenage friends for austin, and potential real estate clients). Who hooooo!
