My eyes are better than 20/20 now. Can you believe it? I can't. It is soo cool. It is worth every penny. I just hope they stay that way! What's one more thing to worry about?
I am going crazy looking for things that are lost in the move. Why does that always happen? It's like a moving thief visits as you're piling stuff up on the truck. Maybe it's on the freeway somewhere?? I am missing my blank buisiness cards. I want to print some new ones off my computer RIGHT NOW so that I can bring them to the neighborhood get together tonight. I know I will be giving out my phone number, and what a better way to do it, when I may get some buisness too. lol.
I finally did order some in the mail. Some with pictures, and some without. I am axiously awaiting those AND my new digital camera to come in the mail. I ordered the cards around May 1st and the camera around the 10th. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? sheesh
I met Andy's dad for the first time the day after my eye surgery. He was very nice and he brought Andy's half brother with him which is just WEIRD! So we have Austin, bosing around his younger uncle the day they met. I try to keep him from being so bossy, but it is just in his nature. Sorry Kaleb, and I hope you had a good time when you guys came over for dinner. Austin was much nicer then, and they threw around the baseball a bit in the backyard.
Andy's dad was very quiet. I was suprised! He seemed like a very handsome humble man and I didn't see any of Andy's fiery temper. Of course, it was only a few days. lol. I kept thinking that maybe Ted didn't like me because he was so quiet but come on, how could he not like ME? Maybe it was just awkward for him. Or his personality. hmm
I also got to meet Andy's grandma on his dad's side for the first time. She lives in south phoenix. No excuse why we haven't met before!! She is the mom of Ileigh's daycare teacher Robin, which is just crazy. And she looks just like her. It's so funny I can look at her and Ileigh and see the resemblence now too. =) She has 3 noisy scary but interesting birds. Ileigh wanted to get close to their cages as I was invisioning the next day's headlines "Horrible accident involving 27 yr old parrot, toddler loses left arm." I think we narrowly missed out on that possibility.
I did take some pictures of all the long-lost relatives, but they are on my crappy camera, since my good one was stollen. I will post them soon.
Happy Memorial Day Everyone!
