Went camping last weekend...

Up by Flagstaff. We went with my ole pal Amy who is a med student and her b/f and his 7yr old son. Went up friday and came back Sunday. Sleeping was difficult and Ileigh already had a cold. I had told Amy we wouldn't go because of that but it was Amy's bday and the cold wasn't that bad. Seriously, it's either listen to Ileigh scream at home or listen to her scream in woods. sheesh.

Anyway, Saturday morning while changing Ileigh's diaper I noticed a horrid rash. She is so sensitive and rashy, I wasn't too worried until I saw the magnitude of it. It was all over. Didn't seem to be bothering her a bit though. I asked Amy and she confirmed it was hives. Not sure why she got them but I thought maybe she fell into a bush or something the night before. Amy said I could take her in but that her dr wouldn't do anything anyways and that there was no way to tell the cause of it. Yeah right, Amy just wanted to camp another day. HA just kidding.
Well the next day it had spread to her torso and backs of knees. We drove into town for some cream. We stayed another night which was fun except for trying to sleep. Andy is a bigtime snorrrrrrrerrr and it was cold and Ileigh had given us her sickness. Andy ended up sleeping in the truck with Ileigh (poor Ileigh) and getting up various times in the night to ask me where the medicine was or to honk the truck horn. (Love you honey).

Sunday it had spread to her hands and feet and neck. Her neck seemed to bother her but it was starting to fade from her thighs. I called in sick on monday and Andy and I both felt miserable that night. Oh yeah he snoooooorrred so bad our first night home that I had to try to sleep on Austin's top bunk! Beatch. It is hard not to get angry about it! I found 2 scorpions and a huge scary spider that I could see crawling over the grass that night before bed. The couch was out of the question. =)
