I Passed both Real Estate exams!!!!!!! (national and state)! Please refer all transactions this way from this point forward! Now I have to pay $900 dollars in realtor fees to obtain my license.
I am so relieved I passed, and suprised it was harder than I thought it would be.
Here is my thoughts on the daycare the first week..
Ileigh did great for it being her first time. She played with the other kids and was not intimidated. :D
When I first got there, NO one said hello to me for 5 minutes. Then I saw a kid have a fall and the teacher yelled from accross the room for him to "get up". Finally, I talked to the head teacher about Ileigh and what to do.
When I picked her up, she was in a high chair eating. She didn't notice me at first. The same lady who said to "get up", was munching on her chips and not paying ANY attention to any child. Someone asked who I was and she replied " I don't know, some lady." Then when I got closer she said " oh, It's that one's mom." EXCUSE ME! I do NOT like this woman at all.
Okay, there are four teachers
1) dh's aunt. We don't know her well. SHe is very nice to the children and probably would be seen playing with them on the floor.
2) a very large black woman in charge of all the teachers. She seems nice and has been there for a long time. She would not even be ABLE to play with the children on the floor. But I have time to observe in the future.
3) another large lady whom I have never spoken with. I am not sure how she is with the kids, but she is one of the ones that did not say hi to me the first day.
4) An older woman whom I think is mean. I have a very rude impression of her so far. oh yeah, yesterday when we were leaving, this lady practically chased us down in the parking lot saying she needed to check Ileigh's diaper. Hello? We are LEAVING. I can do that myself. I think she forgot to do it all day so far and needed to check her off the list for being dry. Puleese!
I will have updates as time goes on..
The other important info. Austin got into the Montessori school I have been waiting for. It is the same one Ileigh is on the 2 yr wait list for preschool. Okay, so she will practically be in kindergarten then. Oh well. It is an awesome school. I was able to tour it for a day and was very impressed. I don't think it seems too easy or anything like that. Just more catered to the kids with special awareness put into the curriculum. The kids are taught about recycling for instance. It does suck I have to pack his lunch every day though. It is also far away and when we move, Andy will have to drive him down there. I am hoping he can pick him up from his friend's house that attends the school too.
He will start the day after our Florida vacation.
